1 review for MCC30S Peacock Brocade Overbust Plunge Corset

Just gorgeous. This style was recommended based on my measurements (bust 38, underbust 33, waist 32, upper hip 38, low hip 42 – got size 24) and I am so glad I took a chance and bought it. It looks super busty in the photos (too busty for me, I thought at first) but in person the front cups are not so rigidly molded and the clever front lacing helps contour it perfectly, like a favorite bra. I am glad I have lots of time to get used to the corset because that waist reduction is no joke. Supposedly a 24 has a 26″ waist per the measurement chart but mine does measure at 24″ – unless it’s going to stretch out as I break it in or I lose weight, I won’t be closing it anytime soon. Today I was able to get it cinched down so the hips fit smoothly and it’s clearly a good match for my shape. Just a matter of building a tolerance for the waist reduction. The only bummer is the lacing – I wish the ribbon ties and cord matched instead of being green/black. The ribbon ties are not finished and since you have to completely unlace the bust to get in and out, it gets tedious fishing the cut/frayed corner of ribbon through the eyelets. Plan to either replace them with shoelaces or get some clear shrink tubing and fix up the ends. This is a small quibble. It’s an incredibly nice corset, stunning in person, shipped quickly, totally worth every penny.
