I love how this corset looks and fits. The MCC-36 was the best fit for me, but since it was discontinued I tried the MCC-20 which whilst it fits me horizontally, it’s actually a teensy bit short waist to underbust (I have a short torso so whilst it’s intended to be a cincher/belt length, in me it’s almost a full length corset, just the teensy bit go short to be that).
I saw the MCC-35 in the “nude” PVC and sequined lace and though pretty, I just couldn’t find a way to fit it into my wardrobe, so when I saw this come up in black with the deep red lace appliqué, I knew I had to try it!
The fit of this is very similar to the MCC-36 I have, with the exception being the lack of hip ties. Luckily I found that it fits ok without needing the extra space in the hips, so this MCC-35 is from now on going to be my go-to Mystic City corset style! I hope this comes out in many different fabric options. I’d particularly like a mesh version and something in light but bright green or yellow or orange.
I love that the busk and underbusk on this corset are somewhat flexible as I have a prominent pubic bone and very stiff busks often dig into it and leave an empty gap between the busk and my waist which can be a bit of a strange sensation. This corset flexes in such a way as to bend in towards my waist and bend over the top of my pubic mound meaning it’s very comfortable! The bones either side of the grommets are also very flexible which I love as I have lordosis and usually the back is too straight to follow my spinal curve. I was surprised because they are quite wide bones at the back, but due to how much they flex, they are incredibly comfy.
If this were to be totally perfect for my body, the waistline would be a little over half an inch lower (so more of the vertical length distributed above the waistline, but the same total length and the busk is at the perfect height) but for an off the rack corset this fits incredibly well. It gives me a nice longline sort of shape on my short torso.
I purchased a size 22″ and my natural measurements are:
Bust = 38″
Underbust = 30″
Natural waist = 26″
High hip (2″ below waist) = 36″
Full hip (5″ below waist) = 38″
So this corset fits me pretty much spot on. The measurements of the corset I received match the size chart.

I definitely recommend this corset to others like me who are naturally extreme hourglass figures with short torsos!

It runs slightly big. But I knew it before purchase.
It fits well and feels very comfortable. I am considering adding darts on the top part of corset and covering them with lace but right now I benefit from it being slightly loose on the top. I wear it at home and it does not restrict my movements as other corsets.
Ordered size 20
Outer circumference measurements
Hip 34″ closed
Waist 22″ closed
Underbust 28’5″ closed
keep in mind it is short torso corset and you need to take measurents slightly below underbust.
Sylwia were helpful with sizing and answered all my questions.
